Croton Plant (Coduaeum Varigatum)
"Croton Plant" is a series of 8 Croton plants in a pot. Each plant has a different pot style and color. Only 8 were ever made, each is numbered. Number 6 of 10 is the only remaining sculpture for sale.
The leaves are made of vellum, and then coated with a polymer. The branches and trunk are made from strands of twisted wire, and then coated with a marble saturated polymer. The turned wood "pots" are about 1" tall and each is a different shape and color.
22 hours is the average time it takes to complete each sculpture and the unique box it comes in.
