Rose Bush in a Clay Pot

A Rose bush in a clay pot is a series of 10 tiny sculptures of rose bushes, each a different color, with the same number of blossoms, leaves, stems, etc. Each in a different clay pot.

The rose petals are made of vellum, then coated with a polymer filled with marble dust. The leaves are made of liquid polymer, ringed with a .005” diameter wire frame. The branches are made from strands of twisted wire, then coated with a marble saturated polymer. The “clay pot” is about 1” tall and was turned out of wood on a mini-lathe. On the average, 28 hours was needed to create each bush.

Each bush comes in a special fold down box.

Editions #4, #5, and #6 are available for purchase. The price is $225 each.
